The vineyards are planted at altitudes of 380 to 650 meters above sea level. With an average steepness of up to 80%, they belong to Europe´s steepest vineyard sites Soil: paläozoischer Schiefer Awards: 93/100 points Falstaff Weinguide 2020/21 Winemaking: Very late selective hand-picked, 8 to 16 hours maceration time, very gentle and slowly pressed. Spontaneous fermentation in old big wooden casks. Ageing for 7 months on the yeast.
